Currently the shortest period of time membership plugins can restrict access for is one day, but then users can still access the rooms at any point in time during the day (which can lead to unauthorised sessions). This is easily managed if there are only a few rooms but sites with many tutors and rooms this can be a challenge to manage manually.

If possible in Wordpress for example, it would be very useful if a room could be set to allow guests and block guests automatically on a schedule (so for e.g. Thursdays at 8pm the room would no longer allow guests and then allow guests again at a particular time on another day.)

This could be like how chrons run tasks, in this way when combined with membership plugins there will be another layer of control to prevent unauthorized sessions or access.
