Zoom! It's hard to see some imported PDF Documents. Also, a Hand Tool like in Adobe to navigate.

iPhone and Android access
I am not sure, but it is probably possible to change flash applets into HTML5 objcects.
HTML5 is acceptable for mobile devices.-or-
make a complete new iphone/android app for scribblar!
42 votesGreat idea, however we don’t think Scribblar has the right form factor to be useful on a phone.
It’s a different story on tablets, it could work well there, especially as pretty much every tablet (apart from the iPad) runs Flash. Watch this space. -
Add 'Rotate 90deg" to shape right-click options
The Flip options come in very handy for marking up Electrical symbols on house plans. Would be useful to round them out with a rotate option ;-) Cheers for a great tool guys.

Pen tool is default only for the first time
Pen tool is default only for the first time you use it. But if you choose some other tool , like UNDO tool or LINE tool etc, then the default tool is again the same old SELECT tool. So the problem remains. Pen should be default tool even after you use other tools in between.

how about allowing links in the texts boxes?
I was thinking it would be a great thing if we could add "working" links into the text boxes, so if we'd be referring a website or other of our drawings, we could link them through the text.

Upload videos on the blackboard
It would be nice if you could also upload the video board as well as photographs.

Send to back, move up/down level
Bring to front is nice, but if the thing you want at the front is hidden, you can't select it. Send to back, and move up/down one level would be nice.

Grid Options
Implement Grid options:
1. Size: grid has a zoom level (100-1000% of current would work nicely I think; or just small, med, large)
2. Snap to grid (already a suggestion): moveable items will snap into the grid when moved near a line. (on/off)
3. Grid color

hotkeys
Hotkeys can really speed up scribbling. Take a look at www.cosketch.com: press T, automatically accepts text; press L for line, etc. This way you don't have to move your mouse for commands, you can focus on drawing.

We had this working but some users preferred the current way so we rolled it back. I’ll see how we can support both modes easily.

wolfram demonstrations
I like the integration of Wolfram Alpha a lot. It would be great if you coul also integrate mathematica demonstrations or notebooks

make sure backspace doens't delete page
Pressing backspace in scribblar deletes an entire box. Because text editing often involves lots of backspace clicks, this functionality should work like in a text editor: delete a character, not the whole page.

grouping selected elements (or strokes, or pictures) together & being able to ungroup them
when drawing a signature or drawing any picture with multiple strokes, it would be nice after being done to be able to select the thing and "group" the multi-strokes together. This way it could be moved to a new location or reduced in size, etc.
Being able to move selected additions together would also be handy as things were added to the whiteboard surface. For instance, to make room for other things to be added or to re-order locations.4 votesthanks for the suggestion. Please note that you can already move multiple shapes at once by shift-clicking them one after another. They are not technically grouped, but until you click elsewhere they ‘stick’ together as a group.
Alternatively you can also drag a selection around them using the selection tool. This has the same effect as a shift-click. -
Persistent additional admins
I'd like the ability to share a room I created with people who have permanent admin/moderator privledges. If we collaborate on something, I'd like them to be able to log in and write without having to use my account's permissions. I've already given them rights, but those rights disappear when they log out.
