thanks for the suggestion – would it be better if we added all PDF pages onto one whiteboard page instead? Like the view in Acrobat Reader where you scroll down and down to reach more pages?

I'm sorry for the lack of updates, we have released plenty of other features instead though. Zoom is still being considered, but we're also hoping to provide better, higher resolution output for converted documents that may negate the need for zoom.

Great idea, however we don’t think Scribblar has the right form factor to be useful on a phone.
It’s a different story on tablets, it could work well there, especially as pretty much every tablet (apart from the iPad) runs Flash. Watch this space.An error occurred while saving the comment Adminstefan.richter

I'm afraid we do not yet have a mobile app to offer, but it is something we are considering. It would include iOS and Android - tablets only most likely.

This feature is working in tests already. I’m not sure how quickly it can be integrated but it’s definitely planned. Thanks for the feedback!

We have made recording facilities available to selected Scribblar Pro customers. It's still considered beta and we're not yet sure when we will be able to roll it out fully.

Please note that you can now retrieve time stamped chatlogs via your account's roomlist.
We may still display timestamps in the actual chat window, but it is proving a little tricky due to time differences.The chat logs under your account use UTC time and display like this:

Actually just to add: the room link you pasted does NOT load for me either. In fact 8zjbbkgy is not a valid roomid - we don't have a room by that id.... so that explains the non-loading. Did someone delete the room?
However I found a different room with roomname Dpan2012 and that did load.

That room loads ok for me. I don't want to paste the link here to avoid uninvited visitors but please email me on stefan@scribblar.com and we'll continue the conversation there.
Note that you do not have to check the 'public' option, the room will work fine without this. All that public does is list the room on our site.

Ah, I should fix that and add an error message. I think the room you are referring to hasn't got 'allow guests' checked and it's therefore not loading.
Please allow guests, and also check the autopromote option.Best wishes,

Hi Geoffrey, if your room is set up to allow guests (you can configure this via the room list by editing each room) then anyone can enter the room at any time. To allow guests access to the tools then you should also set 'promote guests' to on.

PDF and PPT (as well as PPTX) are supported now as you probably know.

A test version is now working. I'll do my best to add this to Scribblar asap. So far it looks likely that at least .ppt, .pdf and .doc support is coming (likely other formats too).

Can you elaborate? We currently allow assets in all rooms without exception.

ah yes, that is a great idea. This is something we are planning, and we would also like to enable you to share your assets with other users if you wish to do so.
Our next version will have this feature as well as insert page anywhere.
